International simulation collaborations

My work runs through large international team-based projects.

MEGATRON simulation of the first galaxies.

MEGATRON

A simulation programme connecting the first stars, early chemical enrichment and the emission and absorption lines now observed in high-redshift galaxies. As co-PI I help lead a team of 25+ observers and theorists (Chicago and Oxford), using the Ramses-RTZ code to understand how the first chemical elements were produced.

EDGE

Simulating the faintest dwarf galaxies in the Universe to probe the nature of dark matter and the first galaxies. EDGE is an active international collaboration, producing recent work on dwarf-galaxy scaling relations, the nature of dark matter, feedback-driven outflows, and chemical enrichment in the smallest systems.
